Lorinc (pronounced Lawrence) first worked at Quinn Thiele Mineault Grodzki LLP, Injury Lawyers as a law student. He joined the law firm in 2019 as a student-at-law after completing law school.

After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, he obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2019.

Lorinc was very involved in many extra-curricular activities at the law school. He co-founded All Sorts of Torts, a campus club, which created the annual Law v Cancer charity run and hosted notable speakers such as Supreme Court Justice Rosalie Abella and Shopify’s COO Harley Finkelstein. Lorinc was also a member of several intramural soccer and volleyball teams.

During his time in law school, Lorinc became very interested in personal injury law, particularly its human aspect and the opportunity to help injury victims. Lorinc won the Family Law Institute Prize in 2018 for a paper he authored regarding the impact injuries have on a victim’s family.

As a new graduate, Lorinc looks forward to handling all types of legal matters, including personal injury, landlord and tenant, and general civil litigation. He will work closely with both the disability and injury groups at the law firm.

Outside of law, Lorinc plays competitive soccer, is an avid cyclist, and loves travelling and spending time in cottage country. He also enjoys playing the piano.

Lorinc is also fluent in Hungarian and French.
