Lorinc is an associate at QTMG Injury Lawyers. Lorinc Mucsi’s areas of practice include personal injury, general civil litigation, disability, landlord and tenant, and human rights law. Lorinc has appeared in the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court as well as various administrative tribunals, including the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Social Benefits Tribunal.
In practicing personal injury law, Lorinc has helped numerous victims involved in motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and falls, dog bites, and other accidents in obtaining compensation for their injuries. Lorinc is a compassionate lawyer who understands the many difficulties faced by injured victims, including not being able to work or carry out their daily activities, and he works tirelessly to ensure that victims are fairly compensated.
Lorinc has represented both landlords and tenants regarding residential issues, including rental arrears, damage to property, harassment, and the termination of tenancies. Lorinc has also represented several clients in relation to human rights proceedings.
Lorinc also represents clients in Hungarian.
During his time at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, Lorinc became very interested in personal injury law, particularly its human aspect. Lorinc won the Family Law Institute Prize in 2018 for a paper he authored regarding the impact injuries can have on a victim’s family.
Lorinc began working at QTMG after his first year of law school before joining as an articling student in 2019. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
Outside of law, Lorinc plays competitive soccer and loves travelling and spending time in cottage country. He also enjoys playing the piano.
